Renee has been the Health Science Education Specialist for over 14 years. Her position at OPI includes establishing new health science programs, facilitating teacher professional development and training, and extensive work with the Carl D Perkins federal funding for CTE. Renee was instrumental in the affiliation of Montana HOSA in 2004 and has served on the executive board as the Office of Public Instruction (OPI) Montana HOSA State Advisor since its inception. Previously, Renee was the principal investigator for the Food Stamp Nutrition Education Program (now SNAP), taught courses in Health & Human Development at MSU, and was the director of the Gallatin Valley Food Bank for 9 years.
