“Hi there! My name is Makayla Oberly and I am a senior at Bozeman High School. I am incredibly excited to be serving Montana HOSA as the Vice President of Student Engagement this year! I am a go-getter, passionate, and caring leader who is eager to work alongside students who are just as dedicated to healthcare as I am. As a leader, I want to show students that no matter who they are, anyone can pursue their dreams and passions! This year in HOSA, one of my goals is to help students get more directly connected to healthcare field and the many opportunities that it holds.
As an aspiring veterinarian, I am planning on attending college to study animal science/biology! In the future, I hope to go in to the surgical field of veterinary medicine.
When I’m not busy with HOSA, you can usually find me volunteering at my local animal shelter, spending time with my friends and family, baking cakes and cookies, and trying new things! I am honored to be serving on your 2025-2026 Montana State Officer team and I beyond proud that I get the chance to empower our HOSA students and help them reach their full potential!”
