Prepared Speaking is a Leadership Event that provides HOSA members with the opportunity to improve knowledge and skills surrounding effective oral communication. This competitive event requires competitors to develop a  5 minute speech related to a selected national topic. The topic this year is “Powered by People”

*Speaking Skills is a Leadership Event specifically designed for students classified under IDEA. It shares the same topic each year as the prepared speaking event, but has a time limit of 4 minutes.

Please be sure to check the short sheet guidelines which tell you how to prepare for these events, as well as, the Montana Gotta Have It list which informs you of the equipment you are responsible for bringing to SLC.
